It’s time for Insomaniac’s most beloved event of the year. Escape: Psycho Circus is now entering its 8th year of existence. For eight years now, it has become the West Coast’s largest two-day dance music event centered around our favorite frightful holiday. The two-day EDM-centric festivity has an impressive line-up this year featuring big acts like Kaskade and Diplo. 2. Voodoo Music & Arts Experience 2018

Where: New Orleans City Park – New Orleans, LA

When: October 26 to 28

Are you a high-maintenance music fan? You can’t be pleased and you want nothing but the best Halloween weekend experience. Look no further. Voodoo Music + Arts Experience is one of the best music festivals every fall season. It’s now on its 20th installment and has nothing less but a stellar line-up to offer.  Mumford and Sons, Childish Gambino and the Arctic Monkeys are all headlining. Where: Nelson Wolff Stadium – San Antonio, TX

When: October 27 and 28 

Of course, Texas wouldn’t miss out on its own brand of a Halloween multi-day music festival. Mala Luna Music Festival is back on its 3rd year and it’s only going to be better than ever. Mala Luna will feature national headlining music talent alongside some of today’s most exciting up-and-comers. But most importantly, it will also be paying tribute to San Antonio and larger South Texas region’s cultural celebration of Dia de los Muertos with nothing less but a highly-curated festival experience suited for all ages. Mala Luna is setting up multiple outdoor stages, local vendors and visual artists, and a diverse music lineup with some of today’s most sought-after music acts.

5. Freaky Deaky Halloween

Where: Sam Houston Race Park – Houston, TX

We’re adding another EDM-centric on the list because, why not? EDM ’s hottest promoters, Disco Donnie Presents and React Presents is giving us a truly spooky musical experience. Freaky Deaky will host the biggest artists in the game, bringing in DJ Snake, ExcisionKaskade, and Porter Robinson. The line up features a cross-section of genres including house, techno, trance, bass – and everything in between. “Enter if you dare, for a twisted celebration of freaks from far and wide as we come alive to discover Freaky Deaky at our spooky exploration of sound.”

6. Camp Flog Gnaw

Where: Dodger Stadium – Los Angeles, CA

When: November 10

Here’s one for the hip-hop lovers. Produced in collaboration with Goldenvoice, Camp Flog Gnaw is on its 7th installment this year and boy, it’s going to be #LIT. Headliners include Post Malone, Lauryn Hill, Kids See Ghosts (Kid Cudi and Kanye West), SZA, A$AP Rocky and, of course, Tyler. Other notable guest performers also include  Tierra Whack, The Internet,Brockhampton, Pusha T, Flatbush Zombies, Playboi Carti and Jaden Smith. But it’s not just about the music, Camp Flog Gnaw also boasts carnival games, food and a ferris wheel (yay!). If you’re feeling generous, the festival is also in partnership with PLUS1.
