Hamilton has arguably become a cultural phenomenon in live entertainment, with fans even lining up in front of real theaters just for a chance to grab a ticket. The hottest new show on Broadway may be coming near you, so read ahead to know more.

Hamilton is the story of America’s Founding Father, Alexander Hamilton. A sung-and-rapped through musical, it tells the tale of an unlikely hero determined to make his mark on a vast new nation. The story surrounds the drama and history of Hamilton’s rise to power, his relationship with rival Aaron Burr, and his growing family.

Created by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the musical production was – and still is – a smashing success. The show is a multiple set box office hit and is the first show to gross more than $3 million in New York in one week. The Tony Award-winning musical blends hip-hop and rap while casting a color-conscious set of talented performers. Hamilton is certainly not your run-of-the-mill musical. It’s a story of the history of America made for modern America, and people are hungry for it.

Hamilton announced its 20-city tour this year and will carry on to 2019. Also, it will be showing in cities all across America including Seattle, Denver, Las Vegas, Washington D.C., and Boston. Ticket prices for the musical depend on which city you are viewing it from but the average tickets typically cost from $100 and above.
