So, if you’re one of the expected 75,000 attendees of this major event and you’re looking for more information, you’ve come to the right place! May it be your first or tenth time, here’s all the details that may come in handy this epic weekend.

Which Teams are Playing in the Super Bowl 2019

We’re only a few days away from the big game, when the AFC Champions New England Patriots, led by Bill Belichick, face off with the upstart Los Angeles Rams, led by Sean McVay.

Many expected Tom Brady and the Patriots were done earlier this year, but they were, of course, proved wrong. The Patriots beat the Chiefs on the road to get to their eleventh Super Bowl, something that has proven extremely difficult to do all year, but experience wins out. Brady is expecting for his team’s sixth Super Bowl trophy and his fifth-career Super Bowl MVP.

On the other hand, the Rams are aiming to be the Philadelphia Eagles of 2019. As we all know, the Eagles who were the underdogs of Super Bowl 2018 proceeded to win the title against the Patriots. With a talented team that includes Robert Woods, Brandin Cooks, and Aaron Donald to name a few, the Vince Lombardi trophy isn’t that far-fetched.

When and Where is Super Bowl 2019

The NFL’s Super Bowl 2019 (LIII) will be held on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, GA. Kick off is slated for 6:30 p.m. ET.

Opened in 2017, this massive open-air stadium (with a retractable roof!) is home-base for the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United FC. It has a 75,000 seating capacity and can host up to 83,000 people if need be. During the game, fans can expect top-notch amenities and cutting-edge design from one of Atlanta’s newest architectural wonder.

Super Bowl 2019 marks the third time Atlanta has hosted the game. The city was host to Super Bowl XXVIII in 1994 and Super Bowl XXXIV in 2000 at the now demolished Georgia Dome.

Who’s Performing at the Super Bowl 2019 Halftime Show

Three-time Grammy Award-winning band Maroon 5 is taking the center stage at the Pepsi Super Bowl LIII Halftime Show. The pop band will feature a slate of guest artists including Grammy nominee Travis Scott and Atlanta native Big Boi.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium Food and Beverages

It may have cost you thousands of dollars to get to Atlanta, book a hotel and get tickets to Super Bowl 2019. But at least, you won’t be draining your wallet if you want to fill up on hot dogs and beer during the game.

As ESPN noted, the concession prices at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, which were inexpensive throughout the year, will remain significantly cheap and tax-free on Sunday. This is despite the Rams-Patriots showdown marking the biggest game of the season, with around 75,0000 expected attendees.

Just like the Falcons game, concessions will feature 12 food and beverages options. These include $3 nachos and cheese, $5 cheeseburgers and $2 refillable soft drinks.

Perhaps the only drawback on the concession front is this — Chick-fil-A is closed on all locations every Sunday, and yes, even on the big game. Since its opening in 1946, the popular chicken sandwich chain has allowed its staff to set aside Sunday for rest.
